Annual Festival Street Fair Held on Labor Day Weekend
Each year on Labor Day weekend, The NC Apple Festival has nine blocks of Hendersonville’s Main Street filled with arts and crafts vendors, continuous live music, children’s and youth activities, special exhibits, open houses, food, apple growers and NC apples. The King Apple Parade, held every year on Labor Day in Historic Downtown Hendersonville, is an annual tradition and one of the highlights of the NC Apple Festival drawing over 60,000 individuals. There are floats, airplane flybys, bands, youth groups, antique cars, motorcycles, fire trucks, and many local organizations participating in the King Apple Parade.
